It is expected that the total cross-regional personnel flow in society today will increase by 3.1% compared to the previous period.
According to the Ministry of Transport, it is expected that on March 6, 2026 (the 33rd day of the Spring Festival travel season, the 18th day of the lunar January), the total cross-regional passenger flow in society will reach 193 million trips, a 3.1% increase compared to the previous period, but a 3.7% decrease compared to the same period in 2025.
Railway passenger volume is expected to be 12.95 million trips, a 3.5% increase compared to the previous period, but a 16.0% decrease compared to the same period in 2025.
Road passenger flow (including non-operational private car trips on expressways and general national and provincial roads, and commercial road passenger transport) is expected to be 177 million trips, a 3.0% increase compared to the previous period, but a 2.7% decrease compared to the same period in 2025.
Among them, commercial road passenger volume is expected to be 35.36 million trips, a 7.4% increase compared to the previous period, and a 4.2% increase compared to the same period in 2025;
Non-operational private car trips on expressways and general national and provincial roads are expected to be 142 million trips, a 2.0% increase compared to the previous period, but a 4.3% decrease compared to the same period in 2025.
Waterway passenger volume is expected to be 590k trips, a 0.8% increase compared to the previous period, but a 16.8% decrease compared to the same period in 2025.
Civil aviation passenger volume is expected to be 2.31 million trips, a 3.3% increase compared to the previous period, and a 5.1% increase compared to the same period in 2025. (CCTV News)
