I've noticed an interesting trend in the market. Major public Bitcoin miners are no longer just accumulating coins. They are actively shifting their focus toward investments in AI and other technologies. This is a quite telling signal.

What's happening here? Previously, the strategy was simple: mine BTC, hold it, wait for the price to rise. But now, the picture is changing. Miners are not just those who provide computational power to the network. They are large corporate players with serious capital who are beginning to see opportunities beyond just HODLing Bitcoin.

The flow of capital from mining to AI could mean several things. First, it may indicate expectations of medium-term pressure on BTC prices. Second, it signals that major players are seeking more attractive entry points into alternative assets. Third, it’s simply a pragmatic move: diversifying the portfolio amid uncertainty.

If this trend continues, we can expect additional pressure on Bitcoin. When large public miners start selling or reallocating their positions, it usually precedes more serious corrections. Especially if these miners have significant influence on the market.

It’s important to keep a close eye on this development. The end of the era when everyone just held and waited seems to be truly approaching.
