Today (the 1st), the National New Energy Vehicle Power Battery Traceability Information Platform officially launched, providing a national-level information platform support for the green and circular development of China’s new energy vehicle industry. The reporter observed that this platform centers on the digital identity information of power batteries, encoding each battery, and integrating data from the upstream and downstream of the industry chain, enabling chain-traceability of the flow of power batteries. Experts stated that this information platform covers four core functions, targeting data from enterprises involved in power batteries, new energy vehicles, battery swapping services, motor vehicle maintenance, scrapped vehicle recycling, and comprehensive utilization, fully breaking down the information barriers across the entire lifecycle of power batteries.
