Abstract generation in progress

On April 1st, Securities Times’ “People’s Finance News · Panorama” column interviewed Liu Jingnan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor at Wuhan University, and director of the National Satellite Positioning System Engineering Technology Research Center. Liu Jingnan stated that Beidou is not “China’s version of GPS”; Beidou is simply Beidou. It has taken a completely different technological path from GPS and developed unique capabilities that GPS does not possess. China’s Beidou application scenarios are so extensive and deeply integrated that they are unmatched worldwide. From electronic fences for shared bicycles and route navigation for delivery riders, to precise timing in high-speed rail control systems, time synchronization in power systems, and further to marine fisheries, precision agriculture, disaster monitoring, and smart cities, Beidou has become integrated into every aspect of the national economy. What is most exciting is that Beidou is fostering a whole new range of application forms. For example, “Beidou + Low-altitude Economy” and “Beidou + Intelligent Connected Vehicles,” among others.
