The damaged high-voltage power supply line at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant has been repaired

Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant reported on the 6th that on the evening of the 5th, the plant’s “Iron Alloy-1” high-voltage power supply line has been restored to operation. Currently, the plant’s own power needs are now supported by two lines, which is an important factor in ensuring nuclear safety. According to previous information from the Russian side, a local ceasefire was achieved near the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant on February 27, and repair personnel are restoring damaged plant equipment and transmission lines. The plant’s distribution device and a 330-kilovolt backup transmission line were damaged due to military activities on February 10. (CCTV News)
