Recently, the qualification of Du Yi, the newly appointed president of China Everbright Bank Xiamen Branch, has been approved by regulators, attracting the attention of Operator Finance Network.

Du Yi previously worked for a long time within the Shanghai branch system of China Everbright Bank, serving as the General Manager of the Shanghai Branch Business Department. In May 2020, the Shanghai Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau approved his qualification for the position of Assistant President of the Shanghai Branch. Two years later, Du Yi was further promoted to serve as Vice President of the Shanghai Branch.

During his tenure as Vice President of the Shanghai Branch, Du Yi attended various events multiple times in his capacity as Vice President, actively promoting cooperation between banking and government, banking and universities, and the development of financial technology.

In a personnel adjustment in mid-last year, Chen Wei, the former president of China Everbright Bank Xiamen Branch, succeeded as president of Nanjing Branch, leaving the position of branch president vacant. Recently, Du Yi’s qualification to serve as president of China Everbright Bank Xiamen Branch was approved by regulators, filling this key position.

China Everbright Bank Xiamen Branch is one of the important branches in the Pearl River Delta region. In recent years, leveraging the geographical advantage of the “Maritime Silk Road” core area, it has continued to increase support for the local real economy, achieving further development.

It is worth noting that recently, the annual reports disclosed by China Everbright Bank on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Stock Exchange show significant discrepancies in asset data among several branches, including Xiamen Branch, attracting market attention.

In the version of the annual report released by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as of the end of 2025, the asset size of Xiamen Branch was 121.8B yuan, more than doubling compared to the previous year; meanwhile, asset data for branches such as Shanghai Branch and Ningbo Branch also differ by several times, which is clearly unreasonable.

In the Shanghai Stock Exchange version, the asset size of Xiamen Branch was 51.88B yuan, within a more reasonable growth range.

Subsequently, multiple media confirmed that the data disclosed in China Everbright Bank’s A-share financial report is the correct version.

Operator Finance Network will continue to monitor the subsequent developments of China Everbright Bank Xiamen Branch and President Du Yi.
