On March 6, at the press conference on the economic theme of the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress, Zheng Shanjie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, said that in terms of investment, efforts are being made to advance 109 major engineering projects and initiatives under the “15th Five-Year Plan,” and to carry out a set of actions to expand effective investment. For example, they will advance the “Six Networks” and construction in other key areas. The “Six Networks” refer to the water network, the power grid, the computing network, the new communications network, the urban underground pipe network, and the logistics network. Other key areas include integrated three-dimensional transportation facilities, as well as infrastructure and public service facilities such as those for consumption, logistics, low-altitude areas, “Artificial Intelligence +,” and education and healthcare. At the beginning of this year, preliminary estimates indicate that investment in these areas will exceed 7 trillion yuan. (People’s Finance News)
