Wang Wentao: Promote pilot programs for opening up fields such as value-added telecommunications, biotechnology, and wholly foreign-owned hospitals

On March 6th, at the press conference on the economic theme of the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress, Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao stated that in the field of service consumption, we need to promote both opening-up to the outside world and domestic liberalization. Focusing on the service industry, expanding market access, promoting pilot projects for opening in areas such as value-added telecommunications, biotechnology, and wholly foreign-owned hospitals, clearing unreasonable restrictions in domestic service sectors, and expanding the supply of high-quality services.
