EIA raises oil price forecasts for this year and next year

The EIA Short-Term Energy Outlook report indicates that the WTI crude oil price is expected to be $87.41 per barrel in 2026, previously forecasted at $73.61 per barrel; the WTI crude oil price is expected to be $72.43 per barrel in 2027, previously forecasted at $60.81 per barrel; the Brent price is expected to be $96.00 per barrel in 2026, previously forecasted at $78.84 per barrel; the Brent price is expected to be $76.09 per barrel in 2027, previously forecasted at $64.47 per barrel.
