Bahrain’s Foreign Minister called on the United Nations to pass a resolution authorizing the use of force to open the Strait of Hormuz in order to prevent humanitarian and economic crises. Bahrain’s Foreign Minister said: “This draft is not seeking to escalate the situation; rather, it is intended to provide a framework to prevent the international system from further collapsing by emphasizing the need to protect the freedom of navigation and transit and to stop further attacks.” (Source: ODAILY)
