Geely's first-quarter new energy vehicle sales increased by 9%, with exports exceeding 60k units for three consecutive months

Shanghai Securities Journal China Securities Journal News (Reporter Yu Liyan) — Geely Auto, which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, recently released the latest sales figures. In March, the company’s passenger vehicle sales were 233,031 units, up 13% month-on-month. Among them, new energy vehicle sales (including brands such as Geely, Lynk & Co, Zeekr, etc.) reached 127,319 units, up 6% year-on-year and up 8% month-on-month. New energy vehicles accounted for 55% of total sales. In Q1 2026, Geely Auto’s cumulative sales reached 709,358 units, including 369,059 units of new energy vehicle sales, up 9% year-on-year, showing strong growth momentum. In Q1’s rankings for new vehicle sales among Chinese-brand automaker groups, the company ranked first.
In terms of overseas exports, Geely Auto’s sales in March were 81,639 units, up 120% year-on-year and up 34% month-on-month, with exports exceeding 60,000 units for three consecutive months. In Q1, cumulative overseas sales totaled 203,024 units, up 126% year-on-year. The company’s internationalization business has entered a fast-growth track.
By brand, in March, Zeekr, positioned as a luxury tech brand, delivered 29,318 units, up 90% year-on-year, and up 23% month-on-month. For the first quarter, cumulative deliveries reached 77,037 units, up 86% year-on-year. Lynk & Co, positioned as a global high-end new energy brand, sold 25,426 units in March; its cumulative sales for Q1 reached 81,662 units, up 12% year-on-year. Geely Galaxy, positioned as a mainstream new energy brand, sold 82,744 units in March, up 13% month-on-month; for Q1, cumulative sales totaled 238,859 units. Geely China Star sold 95,543 units in March.
On March 17, Geely Auto made an appearance at the NVIDIA GTC 2026 conference and announced a key breakthrough in “cockpit-driving integration.” Together with Jietiao Xingchen and Qianli Technology, the super Eva+G-ASD 4.0, which has been jointly developed, is set to be released and mass-produced for installation in vehicles.
Geely Auto revealed that in the future, Geely will continue to work closely with NVIDIA on deep strategic collaboration across three major dimensions. In the physical AI field, it will explore the continuous evolution of core intelligent-vehicle capabilities. In the enterprise AI field, it will deepen collaboration on cloud-based computing infrastructure and enterprise-level AI platforms. In the industrial AI field, it will promote digital innovation and transformation in intelligent manufacturing and R&D systems. In its full-domain AI layout, Geely will not pursue a closed full-stack approach; instead, it will focus on defining system architecture, unifying interface protocol standards, and setting experience benchmarks, while continuously building an open and innovative AI ecosystem.
