I’m increasingly feeling that grid/DCA is more like a “strategy you can sleep through the night with”—even if you earn a bit more slowly, at least you won’t wake up in the middle of the night startled by a random needle. That kind of stimulation from going all-in is exciting, but honestly it depends on whether you’re the type who, if it drops 5%, just wants to get up and stare at the charts—I’m not really that kind of person… At most, I hop on-chain and do RPG-style quests, losing a bit of gas as tuition; my mindset actually stays steadier.
Recently, hardware wallets are out of stock again, and phishing links are flying everywhere, so even clicking “Claim” makes me take three deep breaths first. Later I thought about it, and it’s kind of ridiculous—what you should really guard against isn’t the market, but your own itch to act and your greed for speed. Anyway, for me right now: large positions use DCA, small positions try new protocols, and if I truly run into an opportunity that looks like an “easy win,” I’ll still check the link three times first. That’s it for now.
