FBI or participate in the fast boat incident investigation in Cuba

Cuban President Díaz-Canel said at a press conference on the 13th that FBI experts are expected to travel to Cuba to take part in the investigation of the speedboat incident, working with Cuba’s Ministry of the Interior to determine what happened. At present, Cuba is awaiting the arrival of the relevant personnel in order to further advance the investigation. The Cuban government said on February 25 that, on that day, a U.S.-crewed speedboat entered Cuba’s territorial waters and exchanged fire with law enforcement officers; of the 10 armed personnel on board, 4 were killed and 6 were injured. Afterward, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio said he had received the notification from the Cuban side, while denying that any U.S. government personnel were involved. (CGTN News)
