O Daily Planet Daily News reports that the United States Department of Efficiency (DOGE), led by Musk, said in a post that DOGE saves the federal government about $1 billion a day, mainly by ceasing to hire employees for unnecessary positions, eliminating DEI, and stopping payments to foreign organizations. All of this is in line with the President’s executive order. This is a good start, although this number needs to increase to more than $3 billion a day.
