Solana advisor Nikita Bier joins X as Product Director

Social entrepreneur Nikita Bier has officially joined platform X as the Chief Product Officer. Bier is known for founding social apps like TBH and Gas – which were acquired by Facebook and Discord, respectively. Earlier in March, he also joined Solana Labs as an advisor to support the development of this network's mobile application ecosystem.

Bier shared: "Finding the community and building a following on X has changed my life – from friendships, career opportunities, to even meeting my girlfriend. I have spent every moment on this app and now I will use that very time to help others find similar value."

He said he would leverage Grok – the AI chatbot from X's xAI lab – to personalize the timeline and help users keep track of what is happening. Elon Musk, the owner of X, has also suggested that the platform could integrate additional cryptocurrency features in the future.
