The topic of tokenization is heating up, and Securitize plans to go public through a reverse merger.

“Tokenization is a topic everyone is talking about, but so far no publicly listed company has done it. We will perform well in the public market because people want to associate themselves with tokenization, just as people buy Circle to associate themselves with stablecoins.”

Doming believes that as the field of digital assets continues to develop and mature, there will be more opportunities to become a winner in the public market.

“The cryptocurrency industry needs integration. If you are a publicly listed company and can access the stock capital market and the cash market, then you can participate in the integration without being integrated by others.”

Securitize is the largest tokenization platform, planning to tokenize its own stock.

According to data from RWA.xyz, Securitize is the largest tokenization platform, accounting for 20% of the RWA tokenization market.

Doming also stated that Securitize plans to digitize its equity, aiming to demonstrate how the processes and transactions of public companies can be realized on-chain. He predicted that everything will be on-chain in the future.

“Currently, there are $400 trillion in assets that could be tokenized. This is an upgrade, and in the next 5 to 10 years, you will see everything going on the Blockchain, as it is a better ledger.”

This shows that it has gained considerable support in both traditional finance and the crypto space.

The $225 million in financing includes investors such as Arche, Borderless Capital, Hanwha Investment & Securities, InterVest, and ParaFi Capital.
