On March 24, Bloomberg reported that Circle Internet Group has reached its first partnership in Africa, signing an agreement with a division of Cassava Technologies supported by NVIDIA, allowing users to trade using the US-based company’s stablecoin.
Cassava Technologies’ subsidiary, Sasai Fintech Ltd., which operates a remittance app in 30 markets across Africa, will be able to use USDC for domestic and cross-border payments.
