BlockBeats News, March 31, according to CoinDesk, Jack Dorsey’s payments company Square announced this Monday that it has begun automatically enabling Bitcoin receiving for millions of eligible U.S. small merchants, with no additional setup required by the merchant. Transactions default to being exchanged instantly for U.S. dollars at checkout, so merchants do not have to bear the risk of Bitcoin price fluctuations, make no adjustments to custody or accounting processes, and the feature is exempt from processing fees before 2026.
