According to Techub News, Xinhua News Agency reported that the acting president of the Constitutional Court of Korea, Moon Kyung-pae, read the impeachment ruling. All 8 judges of the Constitutional Court unanimously agreed to remove Yoon Suk-yeol. Yoon Suk-yeol has become the second president in the history of South Korea to be removed after Park Geun-hye. Following this, South Korea must hold a new election within 60 days. Yoon Suk-yeol did not attend the ruling. In addition, the acting president of South Korea, Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, and the chairman of the Central Election Management Commission, Roh Tae-yeon, have reached a Consensus to designate June 3 as the early election date. The regular State Council meeting scheduled for April 8 may finally determine the date of the presidential election.
