Highlights of the Hong Kong Carnival: A Quick Overview of the 16 Selected Projects for the 9th Season of the BNB Chain MVB Program

BNB Chain, this community-driven blockchain ecosystem, officially announced the list of 16 early-stage projects for the ninth season of the “Most Valuable Builder” (MVB) accelerator program. This four-week accelerator program is jointly operated by BNB Chain, YZi Labs, and CMC Labs.

The MVB program is always committed to providing the necessary resources and support for early builders in Web3, helping them thrive in the BNB Chain ecosystem, while also aligning with BNB Chain’s mission to “bring the next billion users to Web3.”

Season 9 will officially kick off on April 5th, starting with a two-day offline event in Hong Kong to coincide with the Hong Kong Web3 Festival and BNB Super Meetup. This event provides participants with the opportunity to connect with peers, mentors, and special guest speakers. Throughout the accelerator program, founders and core team members of each project will participate in courses covering key topics, including token economics design, financing strategies, team building, and talent development, aimed at addressing the core needs of early-stage Web3 projects.

This season’s plan will culminate on Demo Day, where investment decisions will be made by YZi Labs based on team roadshow performances and project progress throughout the MVB period. On April 24, global audiences can watch Demo Day online and witness these innovative companies in the Web3 space showcase their cutting-edge projects.

In last year’s MVB program (Season 7 and Season 8), a total of 48 projects were successfully incubated. The competition for the MVB program is exceptionally fierce, with over 500 applications received for Season 9, and ultimately only 16 teams stood out and were successfully selected for this MVB Accelerator program. These teams are listed in alphabetical order by industry category as follows:

AI field

• BitGPT: A decentralized AI agent network.
• Datai Network: Provides data support for on-chain AI, transforming raw blockchain data into structured, intelligent information usable by AI.
• Echopy: A leading AI portfolio optimizer on the BNB Chain, focusing on analyzing market trends and data.
• Eurexa AI: The first on-chain robot tokenization platform.
• Everlyn: Building the fastest video generator in the Web3 space.
• JoJoWorld: Decentralized AI space 3D data platform.
• Super Protocol: Collaborative Confidential AI Market.
• TermiX: An AI-driven Web3 operating system that enables seamless integration of AI agents and zero-code agent creation.

DeFi field

• BitFi: A CeDeFi platform that provides native BTC yield solutions to help users maximize the value of their BTC holdings.
• LIKWID: The first completely permissionless and oracle-free margin trading protocol.

DePin field

• XPIN: An AI-driven consumer DePIN platform that integrates decentralized wireless technology with user-oriented innovation.

DeSci field

• Stadium Science: A prediction market platform designed to accelerate the scientific research process.
• Citadel Labs: A platform that provides funding support for deep technology projects.

Games and Entertainment

• Oneverse: Southeast Asia’s leading Web2 gaming marketplace, connecting traditional players with Web3.
• TCOM Global: A global decentralized IP governance protocol that innovates content creation through the integration of AI and Web3.

• Pieverse: A decentralized time economy layer that redefines the way human attention and interaction are aggregated.

Future Plans

After the four-week accelerator program, 16 project teams will showcase and pitch to investors on Demo Day. YZi Labs will decide on the final investment targets based on the performance of the project teams.
