According to the Gate.io News bot and Decrypt, the World Food Programme USA (WFP USA) has officially launched donation channels for more than 80 types of crypto assets, including Bitcoin ( BTC ), Ethereum ( ETH ), USDC, and DOGE (. The organization aims to raise $25 million through the “Emergency Hunger Relief Fund” to aid 58 million people facing hunger worldwide.

WFP USA stated that these crypto asset donations are tax-exempt, allowing donors to offset capital gains. It is worth noting that WFP USA was established in 1995 and, while maintaining a close collaborative relationship with the United Nations World Food Programme, operates as an independent entity.
