#Can BTC Break 90K?

The chart shows the dynamics of perpetual contracts ETH/USDT:
Open interest (OI) and volume for the period from 11.11.2024 to 21.04.2025.

What is visible:

Open interest ( blue line ) - is steadily increasing, especially since the middle of the period.

The last peak was above 2.1M ETH, indicating an increase in the number of open positions.

The volume ( orange bars ) is also increasing, especially in recent weeks, indicating a rise in trading activity.

Interpretation:

1. Increase in open interest + increase in volume — this is a strong trending signal:

It shows that new participants are entering the market, while positions are being held.

The belief in the current trend is strengthening, further volatility is possible.

2. If this is accompanied by a rise in the price of ETH — confirmation of bullish momentum.

3. If the price stagnates while OI is rising, a accumulation phase before a sharp movement is possible.

Output:

ETH/USDT shows signs of active interest from traders.

High OI + volume = readiness for a strong movement.
