On April 29, OriginTrail will launch the DKG 8.0.9 update in the test network. The update will include improvements in the implementation of random sampling, enhanced logging, as well as bug fixes found in the previous version.

OriginTrail is a decentralized protocol that enables seamless data exchange between organizations in a multi-chain environment.

The OriginTrail protocol, developed by Trace Labs, is the world’s first official decentralized knowledge graph (Decentralized Knowledge Graph). OriginTrail was launched on the Ethereum platform in 2018, providing users the ability to store and retrieve data on the network.

Currently, OriginTrail interacts with platforms such as Ethereum, Polygon, and Gnosis Chain. The protocol token, TRAC, is built on the ERC-20 standard and can be traded with other cryptocurrencies on the Ethereum network.

After merging with Ethereum, transaction confirmations with TRAC are carried out using the Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism (PoS).
