Arizona state lawmakers approved a bill to establish a strategic bitcoin reserve (SBR). This is reported by Bloomberg Government.

The document has been sent for signature to Governor Katie Hobbs. It allows investing up to 10% of the treasury and pension fund assets in digital assets.

The co-authors of the law are Senator Wendy Rogers and Representative Jeff Weninger, both representing the Republican Party.

Recall that at the beginning of March, U.S. President Donald Trump signed a decree establishing a federal SBR based on assets confiscated by the Treasury.

In states such as Oklahoma, Montana, Pennsylvania, North and South Dakota, as well as Wyoming, attempts to create a strategic bitcoin reserve have failed.
