Do not expect the negotiations or declarations to bring about any substantial change in the trade war; there will be casualties in the duel between the two giants. A brief joint statement is merely to soothe market sentiment. After all, today's Trump is not necessarily tomorrow's Trump. Today he makes the most significant decision in history, and such exaggerated rhetoric is representative of hype. Tomorrow he might say something completely contrary to today's statements. Therefore, when external voices are mixed, we need to look at the underlying fundamental logic. The trade war will continue and escalate until one side achieves complete victory.
