Taiwan's TWEX has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Kaia to accelerate the expansion of Taiwan's Web3 ecosystem.

Gate News Bot news, Taiwan Mobile Co., Ltd (台灣大哥大股份有限公司) wholly-owned subsidiary Fusheng Digital has established “Taiwan's first virtual asset exchange (TWEX)” created by a large corporate group, featuring three main characteristics: “simple, low threshold, and trustworthy.” It is committed to promoting the mainstreaming of the virtual asset industry. Since its listing in May this year, it has registered over 10,000 users in a very short time, with business owners investing millions to purchase Bitcoin.

To accelerate the expansion of Taiwan's Web3 ecosystem, Taiwan announced on September 5, 2025, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with Kaia Blockchain. Leveraging Taiwan's brand trust and influence, along with Kaia's vast community and expertise in blockchain technology in Asia, both parties will join forces to expand Taiwan's Web3 user base, explore fiat and virtual asset deposit and withdrawal solutions, and work towards establishing and promoting compliant DeFi infrastructure, laying the foundation for the next generation of decentralized applications.
