Don't remind me again today

Actually, I used to be very curious - the Bots in the videos can move and talk, and their movements are so smooth. Do they really have their own intelligence? Can they do anything?

Later I understood, it's not that complicated. To put it simply, Bots are essentially just hardware stacked together, supported by an operating system, and then various applications have to be installed on top of that. Think about it, if you have a top-spec PC or an iPhone 17 Pro Max in your hand, but it doesn't have an OS and apps installed, isn't it just a hunk of metal? The only use might be to smash something in an emergency (though no one would actually do that).

What OpenMind is doing is providing a unified OS for Bots. The key point is that everyone can develop their own applications on this system, without being trapped in the closed ecosystem of a big company — it's frustrating to work hard on something only to have it potentially copied by someone else.

Currently, the biggest headache in the Bots industry is that the ecosystem is too fragmented. Each manufacturer has its own system, and their respective logic and "language" are all different, making it extremely difficult to get them to work together. The core of OpenMind's solution has two parts:

The first piece is OM1. It establishes a unified communication standard for all Bots, whether it's a vacuum Bot, a warehouse Bot, or a humanoid Bot. They can understand instructions in the same way and can chat with each other using natural language. No longer relying on rigid processes, they can understand context, make their own judgments, and handle complex situations.

The second part is FABRIC. This thing is like an identity card + trust system + payment network for the world of Bots. Each Bot has its own independent identity, and when collaborating, the completion of tasks can be verified, and services can be automatically settled. In simple terms, Bots can do business with each other, purchase services, and form a machine economy.

Security has not been neglected either. OpenMind relies on ERC-7777 to clarify the roles of Bots and what they can and cannot do, and then together with AIM Intelligence, they built a physical security layer to reduce misjudgments and prevent Bots from taking dangerous actions, with the core aim of protecting us humans.

Now vendors like Unitree, DEEP Robotics, and UBTECH have already integrated with OM1, and Pantera has also invested in support. FABRIC is still being improved, but the industry has already regarded OpenMind as a key foundation for future robot collaboration.

In simple terms, @openmind_agi actually wants to make Bots no longer just individual tools, but social members that can communicate, cooperate, and are reliable. If this ecosystem can really be built, the relationship between humans and machines will definitely upgrade completely – it will be more natural and safer to interact!
