Don't remind me again today

#数字资产市场观察 alts shorting is not as mysterious as it seems; the key is how you choose the timing.

Don't be like those impulsive youths, insisting on fighting against those volatile coins halfway up the mountain. Once your thinking is clear and you can manage your positions, making money isn't really that difficult.

They say working for a whole year can't compare to catching a market trend in the crypto world for just a few days. At first glance, it sounds like bragging, but when the market really moves, getting a winning trade on something like JELLY can indeed yield profits that equal your entire month's salary. Of course, the premise is that you have to make the right move.

In the end, there are two iron rules for trading: don't be greedy, don't be timid. Stay steady when you've identified the trend, and don't hesitate when it's time to run.

The dumbest operation in the market is to go against the trend and stubbornly fight those altcoins, hoping for a miracle turnaround. Be honest, follow the trend and seize the opportunities you clearly understand, earning money that falls within the scope of your own cognition — that's enough.

It's this trap again, it sounds easy but when it really matters, I still shake.

Ha, don't be greedy or timid. It's easy to say, but when the moment comes, who isn't shaking their hands? --- Following the trend to place orders is indeed comfortable, but the problem is that most people can't tell what a trend is. What they think they understand is actually just gambling. --- I also chased that JELLY order, do you guys understand the feeling of being trapped? Haha. --- The scariest are those half-baked individuals who make a little profit and start teaching others to short, but when the market turns, they close all positions and cut losses. --- Making money within the scope of understanding is true, but what’s scary is if there is a problem with one’s own understanding. --- Working for a year doesn't compare to a few days of market trends; this is indeed possible, but those who can seize it are one in ten thousand. --- Controlling positions is real skill, and most people simply can't do it. --- How are those who went against the trend doing now? They’re probably still on the floor.

Indeed, timing is more important than the coin itself; I fell into this pit last year. Don't get caught up in fancy stuff; just see the trend and work steadily. To put it bluntly, you still need discipline; otherwise, even the best opportunities will lead to losses. I didn't enter a position during the JELLY wave, and I still regret it now. This article is well-written, but most people simply can't stay calm.

Timing is easy to say but hard to do; how many people fall for "I think". Shorting altcoins? The real money is made by those with strong control, not by those chasing after meme coins every day. I agree with the phrase about making money within the cognitive range. Most people can't get over the hurdle of greed. It's easy to talk, but how many can actually execute it? Don't be cowardly or greedy; it sounds simple, but various emotions come into play during execution.

Greed and fear are indeed the two biggest flaws of retail investors, but the real problem is that most people cannot distinguish between trend and luck. That's right, no one really does it. I watched JELLY rise while holding a Short Position, and as always, I thought too much and acted too slowly.
