[On-chain] The Aave community recently exploded on the governance forum. The ACI team proposed a tough measure - directly cutting off the deployments on zkSync, Metis, and Soneium. The reason is straightforward: these chains simply cannot recoup the operational costs and only add to the frustration of the engineering team.
What's even harsher is that they want to set a hard rule for all new deployments in the future: annual income below $2 million? Forget about it. This “temperature check” vote has now passed with unanimous support, indicating that everyone has little patience for losing ventures.
This matter is actually part of Aave V3's multi-chain strategy adjustment. It is said that they also plan to increase the reserve ratio for networks that are underperforming. In plain terms: either make me money, or let's part ways early. In the highly competitive DeFi space, resource optimization indeed needs to be prioritized.

Cutting through chaos with a quick blade is truly wise.
Aave is serious: a flat annual income threshold of 2 million, three low-efficiency chains face exit.
