Recently, I watched a very interesting live trading competition where 70 human traders collectively faced off against multiple AI trading systems. After looking at the results, it really makes one reflect.

The outcome was unexpected: AI performed quite steadily, ultimately incurring a small loss of 4.48% (account shrinking by $13,000), which looked quite decent. On the human team side, however, it was rather brutal — an overall loss of 32.21%, directly evaporating $225,000, and nearly all the players in the subsequent rankings faced liquidation. The situation was a bit chaotic.

But the story isn't over. A ruthless player emerged from the human camp, earning a whopping $13,600, with a final account balance of $23,650, making a stunning comeback to claim victory. This player took home $100,000 from the prize pool, giving humanity a moment of pride. Additionally, there were several traders who didn't achieve such exaggerated gains, but at least maintained positive returns, which is already quite impressive in this competition. There were also participants who seemed to be doing well in the early stages, but suddenly reversed in the last couple of days, falling into the classic trap of chasing highs and emotional trading.

The most stable version on the AI side is a certain aggressive version, consistently maintaining profits of over $18,000, and the entire process is unbearably cold – it is completely unaffected by market fluctuations.

This comparison is indeed heart-wrenching: AI will never stay up late, will never chase prices, and will never panic sell out of fear. And humans? They go all in when excited, liquidate everything when nervous, and emotions are like the biggest loophole in their trading accounts.

On the other hand, the ultimate winner proved that humans still have a chance. Perhaps with an understanding of the market, appropriate boldness, and a little bit of luck, human traders can still go toe-to-toe with AI.

This question is right in front of us: In the future of the crypto trading sphere, will AI fully dominate, or will there always be some top traders who can break through with intuition and experience? What do you think?
