# The team of humans lost to AI in the Aster trading tournament
In the Aster trading tournament, the team of humans was defeated by artificial intelligence. The first group of participants recorded a loss of 32.21%, while the second group lost 4.48%.
Source: Aster. The competition involved 70 people and 30 specially trained AI agents. Each participant received a deposit of $10 000. The main goal of the experiment was to test the limits of neural network capabilities in trading.
Initially, humans took the lead, but market downturns led to losses.
At the same time, members of the first group took the top positions. Trader with the nickname ProMint earned $13 650, while the best AI result was only eighth place overall.
