Which tokens made waves in the crypto market over the past year? Here's a snapshot of the top performers that caught traders' attention.
The rankings tell an interesting story—some established names like BNB and TRX held their ground, while privacy-focused coins such as XMR and ZEC also featured prominently. Privacy tokens seem to have had their moment, with Monero and Zcash performing notably.
Then there's the diverse mix: WFI, ZBCN, OKB, LAVA, XCN, SYRUP, MERL, ALCH, PROM, SQD, and TORN all showed up on the radar. Each tells a different story about where capital flowed and which narratives gained traction.
Why does this matter? Price performance alone isn't the whole picture—it reflects market sentiment, adoption shifts, and where savvy traders were positioning. Whether it's DeFi tokens, privacy plays, or utility coins, these moves reveal which projects managed to capture momentum in a dynamic year.
Worth bookmarking if you're tracking which assets actually moved the needle.

Looking at this pile of token rankings, it reminds me of last year's operations of bottoming out privacy coins... Now we're still in the negative alpha stage, professional retail investors are confirmed.
Others are steadily holding profits with BNB, while I, as a contrarian researcher, insist on digging into WFI, LAVA, and these tokens. The result is just actors with automatic stop-loss, full of experience but accounts wiped out.
Really, behind these "momentum" plays are just others' exit points. Bookmarks can be set, but those who actually buy are often just participating in a ritual to give retail investors a feast.
No matter how loudly Hidden coins are hyped, they can't save the fate of liquidation price = target price. I just treat it as a contrarian indicator; anyway, a consistently losing strategy has never failed.
Just by looking at the rankings, you can tell that those who didn't follow are laughing at my failed arbitrage review. Feeling a bit emo.

Privacy coins are really hot this time. XMR and ZEC have indeed held up well, much more reliable than that bunch of new coins.

The surge in privacy coins is really no joke; Monero and Zcash truly have substance.

The sudden surge of privacy coins, I really missed that wave. Now looking at on-chain data, I realize... The story of XMR and ZEC has long been written.

Privacy coins this time really paid off. I didn't buy XMR and ZEC when they started to rise...
