If you choose the right direction, even the most ordinary coins can bring you profits; if you choose the wrong direction, even leading coins will turn around and crush you. This has been my biggest insight from trading over the past few years.

My current approach is actually not complicated—first look at the overall market, then pick strong coins. Bitcoin is like the weather vane of the entire market; once its trend becomes clear, other coins basically can't escape and are likely to follow suit.

How do I specifically allocate? During a bull market, I select about 5 potential coins to deploy, avoiding overextending myself. Otherwise, I spread myself too thin and can't do well. In a bear market, I mainly hold onto Bitcoin, and the rest is just waiting for that perfect entry opportunity.

That's right, the direction is really more important than choosing coins... I've experienced the loss of the leading coin suddenly turning around, and the feeling was incredible. Following BTC's rhythm, five coins are enough; spreading too many can cause chaos.

That's right, choosing the right direction is much more important than picking the right coin. I've learned this the hard way. Following the trend of Bitcoin is indeed easier, but the prerequisite is that you must understand when it is "clear." Five coins are not many; the key is to stick to them and avoid chasing highs. Holding Bitcoin in a bear market is enough; all the others are just bait. Before the market picks up, even the most promising altcoins are useless. If the direction is correct, you can earn passively. It sounds great, but actually executing it is very difficult. So, instead of chasing many options, it's better to get the rhythm right.

Basically, it's just following Bitcoin's lead; everything else is nonsense.

You're right, the direction is truly the foundation of everything. I only realized this after experiencing the drawbacks firsthand.

Direction really is everything. My painful lesson over the past two years is that chasing the leading coins often results in losses, while following the overall market trend with smaller coins has been more profitable.

Basically, it's just following Bitcoin. If the direction is right, you make money; if the direction is wrong, you get cut.
