Lighter AMA: Community token allocation accounts for 50% of the total, with a token buyback mechanism in place.

On December 27th, the market leader of the Lighter team, @Pilla_eth, shared some details about TGE during an AMA event themed “Lighter TGE.” The main points include: 1. TGE and airdrops will take place in 2025, with a total of 25% of the supply allocated for airdrops, which will have no lock-up restrictions. Airdrops do not require claiming and will be directly deposited into the Lightner wallets of token holders. 2. 50% of the token supply will be allocated to the community. More details about the tokenomics will be gradually announced. There will be token buybacks, but the specific amount is undecided. “Therefore, value will flow into the tokens.” 3. The LIT token can initially only be traded on the Lighter platform. CEX and CEX have added LIT to their roadmaps. They will not pay to list it. 4. There will be no official Lighter NFT, but some community NFTs, such as Fuego, are acknowledged. Meme coin airdrops are just rumors. Additionally, @Pilla_eth revealed that Lighter is developing “a mobile app capable of rivaling CEX applications.”
