Recently, I found something interesting while exploring the prediction market. I’ve been watching the sports sector for a few days and discovered a pattern: events with odds above 80¢ are basically stable. The logic behind this is that market pricing has become quite rational; high odds themselves indicate that participants generally favor this outcome.

But here’s the important point—there are no absolutes. Every trade carries risk, and the difference between 0 and 1 often comes down to a small detail. So, the real way to make money is not to aim for winning every single bet, but to construct a positive expected value by selecting high-probability events, and then strictly control the size of each position. Using certainty to hedge against uncertainty is the key to surviving longer in the prediction market.

Is it safe above 80¢? Buddy, your statement is a bit risky. I've seen too many cases where confidence is taught a harsh lesson by reality.

Is it stable above 80¢? Why do I feel like this logic keeps "being taught a lesson" every time...

Haha, I've played the 80¢ insurance trick before. The key is still that position management strategy.

Is over 80 points considered stable? Man, that's a bit of a harsh statement. Black swans don't have good eyesight.
