The potential of SEI in the RWA (Real-World Asset) track is actually easy to understand—imagine it becoming the future on-chain asset settlement hub.
The core issue is simple: high-quality assets like US bonds and real estate have never been in short supply; what’s bottlenecked is settlement efficiency. Currently, these assets require multiple approvals through traditional financial systems, which is costly and time-consuming. What if they could be transferred quickly like sending an email and settled in real-time?
The biggest enemy of large-scale capital is "uncertainty." SEI’s layer-1 design happens to target this—eliminating latency for high-frequency trading scenarios and reducing confirmation risks. This is the true infrastructure that can enable RWA to be practically implemented.

The positioning of the clearing hub is indeed spot on, but whether SEI can truly carve out a piece of this cake depends on real-world TVL data.

Hi there, it's another liquidation hub and real-time settlement. Listening to this, my ears are getting calloused—last time it was the same hype about SEI, and I had to cut my losses three times before I could escape.
Fast turnover of US bonds and real estate? Bro, are you here telling me fairy tales? The real bottleneck is human nature, not technology. No matter how fast the chain is, if you can't get past the regulatory hurdle, everything resets to zero.
Uncertainty? The only thing I’m sure of right now is that my withdrawal card is about to be cut again.

From the perspective of the clearing hub, I agree, but to be honest, how fast SEI can run really depends on subsequent implementation... Having only the design draft is not enough.

The concept of a clearing hub sounds pretty sexy, but the technology that can settle US bonds and real estate instantly, honestly, I haven't seen anyone actually develop it yet.

I've understood the logic of this Sei clearing hub, but whether it will actually be implemented depends on whether those traditional finance folks are willing to play along.
