Wu said that deBridge co-founder Alex Smirnov stated that Flow's decision to rollback the blockchain without fully coordinating with key ecosystem parties such as bridges and exchanges could pose greater systemic risks than the original vulnerability. As one of Flow's main cross-chain bridges, deBridge did not receive any prior communication. A rollback could lead to issues such as duplicate cross-chain user assets and deposit reconciliation failures. He called on Flow verification nodes to suspend validation until clear remediation plans are in place and ecosystem coordination is completed, and questioned the rollback decision process and accountability.
