【Crypto World】The popularity of NFTs has significantly cooled down in the past two years. Trading activity is now mainly concentrated on a few top platforms, with small platforms hardly seeing any business. What’s more interesting is that traders’ attention has shifted to meme coins, especially projects on Solana. Why? Just one word—speed. Solana’s low transaction fees and fast settlement times are no joke, making high-frequency trading a reality. Old-school meme coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu remain popular, while newly issued tokens on the Solana chain are traded more frequently. But you’ll find that most of these trades are short-term speculation, with few people holding long-term. Investors’ mindset has changed; they now seek a market that is fast, flexible, and highly interactive. In comparison, the patience and capital required for NFTs have gradually been abandoned by the market.

Reverse indicator activated, NFT is dead and we are alive. SOL has truly reached the peak of efficiency in cutting leeks this round; low fees and fast settlement are the way to go. The so-called "artistic value" theory of NFTs should have been thrown into the trash heap long ago.

The Sol ecosystem is truly booming, no exaggeration. Transaction fees are dirt cheap, and trading is lightning fast. No wonder everyone is rushing over to play with meme coins.

This wave of SOL has indeed risen, and the old argument of patiently holding Bitcoin is now outdated.

NFT should have been phased out long ago. The meme coins on Solana are truly exciting—low fees and fast transactions. Who still cares about NFTs?
