My trading algorithm's been underperforming lately. Used to catch decent moves in crypto, but lately it's basically ghosting the market—barely any signals worth taking. Starting to think the whole quant approach needs a rebuild from scratch.

All algorithms are failing; the market has really changed.

ngl, sounds like your validation pipeline's insufficient here. ever actually audited the signal generation logic three times through, or just tweaking parameters hoping something sticks? statistically improbable the whole thing suddenly breaks unless something fundamental shifted—market regime change or... deprecated assumptions creeping in somewhere.

Is the algorithm malfunctioning? It might not be the algorithm's fault; the market itself is changing.

The algorithm has failed, isn't this just the market teaching you a lesson? Just wait, there will always be a lower point. Sell now during the rebound, don't think about rebuilding the system. Human weaknesses are the real bugs.
