The recent market has indeed been somewhat dull, but the popularity of tracks like Perp DEX, prediction markets, and X402 has not diminished in community discussions.

Let's start with Perp DEX. The rise of Hyperliquid has already demonstrated one point: on-chain contract trading has genuine user demand, and this is not a false demand. Looking at CEXs, although a leading exchange has a clear advantage, it is far from monopolizing the entire market. Since traditional exchanges can accommodate multiple players, the Perp DEX track logically cannot support only one project.

From this perspective, the on-chain derivatives market still has plenty of imagination space. The key is whether newcomers can find their own differentiation—perhaps lower barriers, better user experience, or customized solutions targeting specific traders. The market is still in its early stages, and there should be many opportunities.

After Hyperliquid became popular, it indeed feels like Perp DEX isn't so cold anymore, but to be honest, it's really hard to say how newcomers will break through. I've heard the phrase "differentiation strategy" quite a bit... in the end, it's still about competing with funds and marketing.

When the market is dull, it's actually a good time to dig for opportunities. Hyperliquid has indeed proven that this track is not a false demand. NGL, entering new Perp DEX projects now also carries significant risks, but if you do differentiated work well, there is definitely room for imagination.

Market is dull, so be it. Anyway, I'm also waiting for a chance to cut losses. Hyperliquid's rise indeed indicates a problem, but those Perp contracts still have a life-and-death situation ahead. I've heard too many talks about differentiated strategies; in the end, it all comes down to who raises more funds and who is willing to give rebates.

Hmm... Hyperliquid is indeed a living textbook, but when you talk about differentiation, I want to ask how newcomers can snatch the cake from the already accumulated liquidity. Isn't that an old trick? That said, if Perp DEX really manages to carve out a second path, the design of the liquidation price and fee structure will definitely have to be quite innovative. Otherwise, old-timers like me wouldn't bother to tinker with the wallet again.
