I think nowadays Chinese people are overly anxious about trivial things like food, clothing, housing, and transportation. Basic survival needs like eating, drinking, and living are no longer issues. Those who feel they can't afford a good car or a house are just overly desires-driven fools with anxiety. If you have money, buy; if not, don't buy. Just do what you can with what you have. What's there to be anxious about? The biggest survival crisis everyone will face in the future is a mental health issue—how to make life interesting and meaningful, and how to face loneliness.
For me, stock trading and investing are ways to solve loneliness and connect with the world. Of course, just trading stocks isn't enough. If I don't invest or do anything else, how do I pass the countless hours every day? That's a fatal problem.
