Two common pitfalls in social media operation—

First, over-interacting can actually lead to losing followers. Many creators with a loyal fan base receive message notifications, resulting in frequent comments and constant pop-ups. It seems lively, but in reality, it occupies fans' timeline space, which can eventually cause annoyance. This is the contradiction between engagement and fan experience. Remember one principle: the value of comments lies in quality, not quantity.

Second, blindly chasing traffic can ruin your account’s positioning. Under the temptation of trending topics and high traffic, content direction drifts, and the account gradually becomes less niche. One moment, you’re doing financial analysis; the next, you’re posting life rants. Fans may gradually become confused about who you are. High traffic is good, but only if your content tags are clear.

An interesting observation is that the Japanese region indeed has astonishingly large traffic. Meanwhile, the operation methods of Twitter Pro members are constantly evolving, and it’s worth paying attention to their actions and strategic adjustments.

Quality > Quantity. This needs to be emphasized a thousand times; bombarding constantly is actually a suicidal approach to operation.

Oh no, isn't this my blood, sweat, and tears... The saying "quality > quantity" hits too close to home. That day, I posted 100 results in a frenzy and was reported and warned. Now it seems that activity level is indeed a risky signal from a technical perspective.

Quality > Quantity, this really hits the point. I've seen too many accounts constantly spamming comments, but fewer and fewer people pay attention.

Quality over quantity is truly amazing. I've only seen accounts that post fifty comments a day... just muted.

Quality > Quantity, I've understood this long ago. Honestly, I've muted accounts that keep bombarding screens every day.

Really, I've seen too many bloggers annoy their fans by posting too frequently... The principle that quality > quantity really needs to be emphasized repeatedly. If the tags are messed up, the account is doomed; no matter how much traffic there is, it can't save it. I have deep personal experience with this. Twitter in Japan definitely plays differently; the approach for Pro members is worth studying.

Frequent bombarding of fans really deserves to lose followers. The phrase "quality over quantity" has been said countless times, but some people still don't listen.
