ByteDance's 2026 order volume for Ascending Tian chips purchased from Huawei may exceed 40 billion yuan, while in 2025 this figure was nearly zero. Several insiders told us that ByteDance is significantly increasing its procurement of domestic computing power, driven by two factors: first, after NVIDIA H20 supply was cut off in April 2025, a computing power gap became apparent; second, the call volume for Tokens in its cloud computing business Volcano Engine and AI application Doubao has exploded. To this end, ByteDance has begun to accelerate deep cooperation with Huawei.
