"Ultimate Bear" whale adjusts position: LIT opens 30,000 new short positions, BTC short positions continue to shrink
【Blockchain Rhythm】On-chain address monitoring data shows that the well-known short address “Ultimate Short” recently opened a new short position at an LIT price of approximately $3.03. Currently holding 31,000 LIT short tokens, equivalent to about $87,000, with an average price of $2.95 and a liquidation price set at $4.75, this position has already yielded some gains. Notably, this address also has a pending order for 10,000 LIT shorts at a price of about $3.06, which has not yet been executed.
At the same time, this address still holds approximately $43.68 million in BTC short positions, with unrealized profits of up to $12.05 million, and a return rate of 552%. The average price of the BTC shorts is $111,500, with a liquidation price set at $102,400.
Since November, this address has realized profits at local lows five consecutive times, without re-entering new shorts. Compared to the $136 million position size at the end of October, the current BTC short position has shrunk by about $93 million. In just this month, approximately $57 million worth of positions have been closed. Once the largest on-chain BTC short position, its recent adjustments are quite evident.
LIT’s position is the same. He just entered and is already making money. The rhythm is quite good, but I always feel like he’s holding back a big move.
Since November, five consecutive kills without adding to the position. I’m puzzled—does he have a bearish outlook on the market or is his capital tight?
That liquidation line at 102,400 is a bit intense. What if there’s a violent rebound... Never mind, I won’t think about it. Just watch how he plays.
The short position has shrunk so much but he’s not adding more. What does that mean? Even the big bears are starting to be cautious?
---
Not adding to the position after 5 consecutive low points? Are they planning to run away or waiting for an even lower point?
---
Still holding a 43.68 million BTC short position, I really can't compare with this size of position at all.
---
LIT new short of 30,000 coins, profit at an average price of 2.95? Why do I always operate in the opposite direction?
---
This guy's liquidation price is 102,400, he's really bold. I would have cut losses and run long ago.
---
Look at their operation rhythm, then look at mine, shrug.jpg
---
552% return rate, how many years would it take me to catch up with this whale?
---
Not adding to the short position again—smart or just not confident in the market? That’s what makes a master.
---
LIT only has an 87,000 USD position, and they still have 10,000 orders placed. This level of precision is truly amazing.
---
From 136 million to now, is this gradual closing of positions or a strategic adjustment?
