TANGEM's second generation card brings three major upgrades: EMP-proof construction, fully open-sourced architecture, and private keys that stay completely isolated. Zero-day attack protection built in from day one.
What changed? The new hardware design hardens against electromagnetic pulse interference while maintaining the same card-form factor. Transparency matters—everything's auditable because it's open source. Your keys never touch the internet. Period.
Current promotion runs through January 29th. New TANGEM V2.0 cards are priced 20% lower with the applied code, plus you get an extra $10 worth of BTC on top. That's the kind of incentive that makes upgrading from older hardware wallets actually worth the hassle.
If you're serious about cold storage and want something that doesn't require a hardware hub or recovery phrase risks, this shifts the conversation.

EMP protection, open source, key isolation... Basically, it's about locking your coins in a more secure safe and then throwing the key into the Pacific Ocean.
20% discount plus ten dollars worth of Bitcoin? I think the project team is just laughing as they cut into the upgrade desires of old wallet users.
As for open source transparency, it sounds great, but how many people can truly understand it? Anyway, I can't understand it.
No need for hardware central units or mnemonic phrases, this is indeed a good idea. I'm just worried that one day when a new vulnerability is discovered, you'll regret not buying a warranty.
Cold wallets are ultimately just a psychological placebo; real security is in your mind.

NGL, this time Tangem's update really has some substance. I'm quite impressed with the open-source transparency aspect.

Open source + isolated keys, now that's what I want.

Hmm, I've heard the term "open source wallet" so many times, can it really be trusted...

If it's open source, I need to check if there's a backdoor in the code... But a 20% discount plus Bitcoin is indeed a bit tempting.
Next-gen hardware wallet tech just dropped.
