The former acting chair of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Caroline D. Pham, predicts that 2026 will mark the transition of cryptocurrencies, tokenization, and blockchain technology from the testing phase by institutions to full deployment. She pointed out that major financial institutions have been preparing for this at least since 2017, and the recent clarification of U.S. regulatory policies is a key driving factor. Pham emphasized that success or failure depends on compliance, corporate governance, and becoming a trusted infrastructure partner for regulated enterprises, rather than market price trends.
