Here's a hard truth about crypto trading: most people who get wiped out didn't necessarily pick the wrong assets. The real culprit? They lost the plot emotionally.
Watch what happens during rallies. Prices pump, your timeline floods with green charts, and suddenly everyone's talking gains. That's when FOMO kicks in—you buy at peaks because staying out feels worse than the risk. Then volatility hits. A 15% correction shows up, panic spreads, and you panic-sell at the bottom. Rinse, repeat, broke.
The coins weren't the problem. Your discipline was. The traders who actually survive the cycle? They don't chase the hype or let a dip shake their conviction. They have a plan and they stick to it, regardless of what the charts or the crowd are screaming.

Basically, it's a mindset issue. No matter how good the coin selection is, it's useless. I've seen too many people FOMO into high positions and scream to sell at low points, completely driven by emotions. Those who truly survive are the disciplined ones who stick to their plans and never change them no matter what.

To be honest, this article hits the nail on the head... The guys around me are exactly like that, choosing the right coins, but they end up ruining themselves by their own hands.

ngl, you're so right... I've lost money this way myself, holding good coins only to be panic-sold out. Only now do I realize that mindset is the first hurdle; technical analysis comes second.

That's right, I am one of those who went bankrupt because of emotions haha
Watching others go green all over the screen, I just can't help but move my hand
Now I understand, no matter how good the coin selection is, if your mind isn't right, it's all for nothing

Basically, it's a mental breakdown; in the crypto world, nine out of ten people lose their composure.
