2025 is a significant year for my crypto trading career. I still remember the moment at the beginning of the year when Bitcoin broke through $100,000, and I decided to hold a heavy position in BTC. Not only that, I also fully utilized spot and futures tools to gradually increase my positions, aiming to seize this wave of market opportunity.

However, the several major corrections experienced along the way were honestly a bit embarrassing. The losses instantly made me realize a key principle — risk management is the key to long-term survival. Later, I started to carefully set stop-losses, diversify my holdings into mainstream coins like ETH and BNB, and most importantly, learn to let go of emotions and no longer be swayed by candlestick charts.

Frequent short-term trading sounds like quick money, but I found it’s still more reliable to operate steadily on platforms with sufficient liquidity. Lower transaction fees definitely save a lot, but more crucial are execution and mindset.

Looking back at the full year of trading records at the end of the year, there is both satisfaction and regret. Anyway, the experiences and data from this year are the best textbooks. In 2026, I will continue to stick to disciplined trading and look forward to more opportunities. I’d love to hear everyone’s 2025 trading stories, and if anyone has experience, we can discuss together.

statistically speaking, this is the exact capitulation-to-conviction arc we saw in 2017 before everyone got rekt lol. "discipline" and "risk management" are the lines people repeat right before the next 80% drawdown hits different. not saying you're wrong, just... *checks historical charts* ...pattern recognition is a hell of a drug fr

Stop-loss is really a hurdle; many people can't get over it. I also went all-in during the BTC 100K wave, but ended up bankrupt, haha. Only when your mindset is adjusted can you make steady profits. You have good insight. How are you diversifying? I'm still holding a single coin. Discipline in trading sounds easy to say, but execution is the real challenge. Choosing the right platform can save some transaction fees, I agree. How much did you lose in 2025? Be honest.

Honestly, I was stuck on the stop-loss for a long time until I got liquidated and learned my lesson. Really, mindset is worth much more than skills. This sentence hits a bit close to home now. Holding a large position in BTC sounds brave, but I was still scared. Diversifying my holdings helps me sleep better. Fees definitely need to be calculated carefully; I almost got wiped out by wallet deductions. Discipline trading sounds simple, but executing it is really a battle with myself. In front of the candlestick chart, I am just a salted fish. Luckily, stop-loss saved me. This wave of pullback knocked out many people. Living is winning, right? Will 2026 still continue? I'll see if I can survive 2025 first, haha.

Haha, stop-loss is easy to talk about but really hard to do. I only understood after losing so much that my eyes turned red. I just want to ask, during those few big pullbacks, did you ever consider going all-in in the opposite direction? Anyway, it's all losses😂 Discipline trading sounds very appealing, but very few people can actually stick to it. You count as one?

The keyword "stop loss" is correct. Last year, I lost everything because I didn't stick to that line, and a wave of pullback wiped me out. This kind of mental journey, I feel every retail investor has to go through it. Only after losing do you understand what risk control means. I was also tempted when BTC hit 100,000, but I chickened out. Looking back now, I definitely missed out on a lot, but as long as you're alive, you're a winner.

Hey, you're right. You really need to understand stop-loss early on. Those few waves in the contract are indeed deadly; I've paid my tuition too. Mindset is really more important than skills; that hits hard. The problem is, it's super hard to stick with it. How did you manage to do it?
