Regarding tokens like $RIVER, the套路 is actually old news. The market maker first pushes the price to the limit, tricking unaware newbies into thinking it's a guaranteed profit from shorting, only to be trapped once they sell. The most disgusting part is the funding fee mechanism—charged every hour, it really can make people doubt their lives. Once you buy in, you start bleeding; even if the price stays flat for a day with nothing happening, the funding fee continuously eats away at your profits. Some people can't stand it and choose to cut losses, while others hold on stubbornly, but as long as you don't hit the big dip on the right day, hardly anyone can make money. The funding fee is like an invisible vampire—no matter how patient an investor is, they will be tortured to the point of collapse. To put it simply, the final outcome of these tokens is one word: fall. This is not prediction, but inevitability.

Funding fees are bleeding every hour, even during sideways trading you lose money—who can stand this?

Funding fees, these vampires are really ruthless. I was already overwhelmed last time, bleeding even during sideways trading...

Funding fees are really something else, just a blood type machine, bleeding even while lying down.

funding rates are literally the hidden mev tax... watched this play out a hundred times. hourly bleed on sideways action is just poor capital utilization tbh. obvious liquidation trap design ngl

funding rates on these perpetual mechanics are just extracting value from retail at systematic intervals. same pattern every cycle—design the fee structure to bleed holders dry regardless of price action. watched this play out with leverage tokens too. the mechanics work until they don't, and by then most are already liquidated.

I opened a short at 14.058 and closed at 13.350, with a loss of 481u. This funding fee is definitely like boiling a frog in warm water; I really can't play this.
