Recently, a friend in the finance circle sent me a mysterious "Internal Forecast List" in the middle of the night, listing the future valuations of giants like SpaceX, OpenAI, and ByteDance. But my eyes immediately locked onto the seventh line—Ripple, going public in 2026, with an estimated valuation of $50 billion.

Then came a voice message, with the clear background sound of a New York night rain: "Everyone in the circle is now discussing, if Ripple really IPOs, how will the price of XRP play out? Quite a few big institutions are already using this logic to strategize."

I asked a piercing question: "Where does this $50 billion figure come from? Is it based on signed underwriting contracts, or just a simple linear projection based on the last funding round? Would you dare to bring this 'list' to the compliance department and discuss it?"

There was a pause on the other end of the line for a few seconds. Finally, he only said: "...Everyone in the industry is talking about it. The truth will only be known on the day of the listing."

This scene plays out in the entire crypto world every day. A grand story (like a "hundred-billion-level IPO") suddenly appears, instantly igniting market sentiment, and candlesticks start dancing wildly. But the underlying support for this story—the key data and facts—are often clouded in fog, and no one really questions them.

We seem to have entered a vicious cycle: trusting a distant, complex, fundamentally unverifiable "story" to manipulate trading decisions, while ignoring the on-chain data that is right in front of us, happening in real-time, and fully traceable.

Over-reliance on narratives and lack of rigorous data validation—this is the root cause of many investors falling into traps. When a story becomes sufficiently captivating, rationality is often pushed into the corner.

Is this the same old rhetoric? Industry rumors just dare to be the definitive answer? Why 50 billion? Have you heard of the term "telling stories"? Once the candlestick chart moves, the mind is gone. On-chain data is right there, yet they insist on chasing after elusive internal lists, which is the rhythm of getting cut. Ripple IPO has been talked about for years, and it still has to wait for the real dividend chapter to count. I just want to ask, do these people dare to gamble their own principal on this "list"?

It's the same story again, just because it's being circulated, you believe it? That's ridiculous.

Listening to stories to trade cryptocurrencies, that's why so many people get liquidated Industry rumors are treated as facts, really daring That 50 billion figure is probably just made up on the spot I've seen this logic back in 2017, and the ending wasn't great On-chain data is right in front of you, yet you insist on believing in air, serves you right

Industry rumors dare to go all in, these people really do. Wait, can Ripple really go public? No matter how good the story is, it depends on on-chain data. Where did the figure of 50 billion come from? Another day of going all-in based on intuition. I'd rather trust on-chain data than ghost stories, unbelievable. I've heard this kind of "inside information" too many times. Who has actually verified this list? Candlestick charts can deceive, but data won't.

Damn, it's the same old trick again. 50 billion? Sounds convincing, but in the end, no one can produce proof. This is the crypto world—stories are what matter, data? Who cares.

It's just industry rumors; those who truly dare to go all-in on such lists are probably here to make money.

Good grief, it's the same story again. I'm tired of hearing it. --- 500 billion? Ha, just industry rumors. The next one will be 1 trillion. --- "Wait until the listing day to find out," a typical gambler's mindset. --- On-chain data is right there. If you insist on hearing stories, you deserve to be cut. --- That's why I only look at on-chain data and don't believe any narratives. --- Whether Ripple's IPO is real or not doesn't matter; XRP should have risen long ago. --- Another internal list, big institutions布局, the story is quite well crafted.
